On a dark night in Washington Heights, a young boy races his bicycle through a desolate park in an effort to save his life. Someone wants him dead because of something he has seen. The boy struggles to escape, but he’s eventually caught and thrown from the highest bridge in the area. His death is ruled an accident. But, someone besides the killer knows it wasn’t.
Fast forward eighteen months.
New York City. Hot July evening. The streets uptown are blazing when someone walks into a notorious drug spot and blows away the biggest drug dealer in Harlem and two others, gangland-style. The triple homicide is carefully planned and perfectly executed, leaving the NYPD at a loss and the Harlem underworld in chaos. Who did it? Who had the balls? Meanwhile, a handsome New York City Firefighter falls in love with a mysterious woman he meets in a nightclub. She’s nebulous. Exciting. The right combination of hot and cold.
