WHO WE ARE

Established in 2000, Alight is dedicated to providing resources, information and quality entertainment. Alight is a transmedia company that publishes books; Alight TV (ALTV) offers free and pay-per-view movies, television shows, documentaries, book visualizations and more. We are a proud member of: Publishers Marketing Association (PMA), Small Publishers Association of North America (SPAN), The Center for Independent Publishing (formerly The Small Press Center), The Combined Book Exhibit (CBE) and The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP).

Most of our book titles can be ordered from Baker & Taylor. We sell directly to retail customers, kiosks and non-traditional booksellers. Books we distribute through Alight USA can be sold to all booksellers. We accept personal and corporate checks, purchase orders (subject to credit approval) and major credit cards. Retail orders can be fulfilled online using our Secure Store or PayPal.

OUR CORE

Our core consists of people who love books and reading! In addition to our executive, administrative and editorial staff, we have highly qualified consultants on board including: a certified educator, historian, clinical psychologist and technology expert. These professionals are helping us develop the high standard of products and services you expect.

WHAT WE’RE DOING

We are in the late planning stage of our product and service development. Our goal is to tailor Alight to suit today’s book-buying public. We’re implementing new technologies and have prepared for the challenges of cross-platform content distribution.  We’re also keeping the community in our sights as we grow, exploring ways in which we can utilize our resources to benefit our neighbors. WHERE WE’RE HEADED

We’re focused on making it easier for booksellers to supply their customers with our titles.  We're implementing plans to expand our web presence so that our trade customers can set up trade accounts, process bulk orders and take advantage of special offers.  Here are some things you can expect to see at our website in the very near future:
